Fairway and Greens Magazine - Top Golf Resorts of the West - Saddle Creek named to prestigious "Top Golf Resorts of the West" listing by Fairways & Greens. Recently rated #9 golf resort in the Western U.S., "the 17 two-bedroom bungalows lining holes 1 & 9 are so comfortable and convenient, you'll want to move in for a month (or more), and play as much golf as humanly possible on a now-mature, perfectly routed and exquisitely maintained track that has as many personalities as there are days on the calendar."
Golf Divas Magazine - Fall 2004 - "Saddle Creek developed an idyllic setting for second homes, and a large percentage of members live full-time on the championship layout. Homes overlook the rolling hillsides and many lakes of the golf course. Most homes lean toward the elegant and enormous, but none are placed close enough to the golf layout to come into range of stray tee shots."
Zagat Survey 2004: America's Top Golf Courses - "There's hidden treasure in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and it's on this terrific, pristine layout where some of designer Carter Moorish's holes are wonderful and unique and his bunkering is both intelligent and beautiful."
Central Coast Magazine - "Developers Castle & Cooke have really outdone themselves in creating a stunning and impeccably maintained golf course that winds its way through the natural contours graced by lakes and studded with oak woods."
Fairways & Greens Magazine - "First tee to final green, it equals or surpasses Pebble or Spyglass in the way Morrish engages the emotions, clearly defining shot-to-shot strategy and making each hole its own conversation piece, as inseparable from its surroundings as the spirit is from the soul."
Golf Today - "One of the top five public access courses in Northern California, along with Spyglass, Poppy Hills and Pastiempo."
Golf Digest - "Saddle Creek ranks 4 1/2 stars, second to Pebble Beach's five-star rating."
