Guests staying
in the bungalows at Saddle Creek Resort
are only a few steps away from the Copper
Grille, culinary destination of Calaveras
County and the Foothills.
The dining room overlooks the 9th green,
with spectacular views of the foothills
that will relax you from the moment
you arrive. Appointed in classical “prairie
style” with an open floor plan
and towering cathedral ceilings, this
Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture
is one of the few indigenous American
Styles developed by a creative group
of Chicago Architects known collectively
as the “prairie school.”
Our Executive Chef and culinary team
offer extraordinary breakfast, lunch
and dinner selections, seven days a
week. Made from the freshest ingredients
available nation wide, our team combines
locally acclaimed farm raised products
with seasonally selected international
treasures shipped in daily on each menu.
Our Executive Chef proudly offers a
special Wine and Food Presentation one Saturday each month. This
special event is exclusive to Saddle
Creek Resort guests and members of the
Club.
Fine wine is part of the rich history
and culture of Northern California and
Calaveras County. Originally known as
the Wine Region, Calaveras County is
home to 28 major wineries. Saddle Creek
is expanding it’s existing wine
storage facility to offer more than
150 varietals of wine. This state-of-the-art facility will be located on
the main level of the resort and accessible
to all guests of the lodge. Wine pairings
are offered nightly along with a special
pairing menu on Friday and Saturday
nights.
Saddle Creek hosts numerous Bay Area
corporate retreats and private golf
and vacation group vacations. Private
dining can be arranged for up to 18
guests in the Members’ Lounge.
Spectacular wine dinners are held in
our Fireplace Lounge combining the culinary
excellence of Saddle Creek with the
wine treasures of Calaveras, Sonoma
and Napa Valley. |
